Read the two chapters found in Practice 2: Inspire a Shared Vision (in the Kouzes and Posner textbook). Prepare a position outline journal (POJ) to answer the following questions:
Central Issues and Analysis
What are the central issues presented in the assigned reading? How are the issues related to information you have studied? In your opinion, why was this particular set of issues presented for your analysis and reflection?
How it Applies to My Organization
How do the issues posed in the assigned reading relate to a current or past organization where you have been a participant?
The Aha Moment
As you study the related materials and think about your responses to the issues in the assigned reading, what is your aha moment? What resonated The POJ is more than a mere answering of the issues presented in the assigned activity. You will also need to consider the broader issues or themes and provide analysis about the connection to the learning in this course and your personal experiences. The POJ is designed to help you begin to develop the habit of synthesizing the material you are learning to your role as an emerging leader in the business community.
