Read the following scenario:
Now that we know where the outbreaks are located, your organization wants to know more about who it affects. The age of the patient will determine what kind of resources will be needed in those areas.
Using Microsoft Excel and the data provided in the Age Impacted data file below, explore the age group data collectively as well as the top 5 cities with most cases.
Create a side-by-side bar graph using Microsoft Excel and the data provided in the Ages Impacted document to identify the age groups affected by the virus.
Note: This information will be used for further analysis in future assignments.
Write a 350- to 525-word report of your analysis of the data. Include an answer to the following questions:
Collectively across all city-data, which age groups are most/least affected?
What age groups most/least affected for each of the top 5 cities with the most cases?
What are the prevalence rates per 100,000 for each age group demographic in each of the top 5 cities with the most cases? US Census Bureau site will be helpful. Okay to use city profiles on censusreporter.org or other reputable population count site. Both only count as x1 reference. (Show or describe your calculation).
What else can be deduced after evaluating the chart?
Include your bar chart and any tables in the report, APA formatted. Do not submit chart separately. Also, include title and reference pages.
Cite at least 2 scholarly references to support your assignment. Feel free to use supplemental readings as references, if from peer-reviewed journals. DO NOT use UOP developed material such as Course Strategy Guide or the data file, “.com” commercial, “.edu” education, “.org” “.net” or other proprietary sources. Okay to use one .gov reference, such as CDC or NIH, need at least one non-government reference.
