Each student should search their state government websites for their specific budget process. For instance, Ohio’s can be found at http://www.lsc.state.oh.us/guidebook/chapter8.pdf.

Review the budget process for your state.  Summarize it for your classmates.

Is it balanced?  If not, what would you recommend to get it there?  If there is a surplus, what would you do with it?
