This chapter in the text talks a lot about peer relationships, as well as social and emotional problems in middle childhood. One area I wished they discussed was on the effects of bullying as this is becoming more of an issue in earlier childhood. I have attached an article that briefly discusses bullying in middle childhood, as well as a few proposed ideas of how to prevent bullying in the classroom. How do you think we can better identify AND prevent bullying in the classroom?
