Here is the data that we are going to use for this quiz, which is the same data that we have been using for our homework (see link below). This data is real life data from the famous Child Health and Development Studies done during 1961 and 1962. Cool!

1. Let’s pretend we are interested in how old the average mom is when she gives birth. So we do a simple random sample of ten pregnancies. The subject_ids from Random.org are already in the data table below.

b. How old is the average mom when she gives birth?

d. Why do researchers do simple random sampling anyways because it is hard and tedious work, so why do they do it? Explain.
