- First, download Microsoft Word as needed and use it to complete this week’s project. As a SNHU student, you may download Microsoft Office 365 for free to obtain a copy of Microsoft Word for this assignment.

For the first part of the final project in this course, you will create a short academic mission statement and three short-term goals to support yourself in accomplishing your mission. Refer to the Final Project I Guidelines and Rubric to complete this assignment. This assignment will require you to spend about one to two hours drafting your mission statement and goals BEFORE completing this template. II. Academic Goals (Course Outcome 1): Once you have written your mission statement, write three short-term goals that you will commit to
accomplishing over the next three to six months and will assist you in achieving your academic mission statement. Refer to pp. 6–7 in your textbook
(Feldman, 2014) for assistance with writing goals. You can also reference this SMART Goals resource for help understanding the components of a SMART
goal. Your goals should be written as full sentences, and they must include the following elements:
A. Relation to your academic mission statement (How will this goal help you achieve your mission?)
B. Evidence they can be measured for success (How will you know that you have been successful in meeting this goal?)
