Imagine that your grade level team would like to integrate more music into your curriculum but you have to ask
permission from the Principal first.
Using a program like Canva, Piktochart, or a program of your choosing, create a one-page handout depicting
the correlations between music and intelligence to present to your Principal. The handout should combine text
(in bulleted or short-sentence form – no paragraphs!) and visual images (clip art, pictures, graphics, your own
art, etc). This handout should be persuasive in nature, and mention multiple concepts like music’s connections
to test scores, memory, and multiple intelligence. The handout can be based on information from readings
and research, but should be your own original work. Be sure to cite sources of both written information and
images at the bottom of the handout.
