I was thinking of a story about a young black man who grew up with no money in a neighbourhood full of drugs, violence and bad influence. the only thing that was motivating him was his favorite sport, basketball. one day, on a September 30th, when he was 14, he lost his best friend who got killed and it showed him how cold of a world we are really living in. that day changed his life as he understood that nothing was guaranteed, that he must live in the present.
