Your final assignment will be submitted using your choice of presentation medium. You may use a PowerPoint, Prezi, Powtoon or a Paper. This assignment will take the last two weeks of your class to complete, so there will be no assignment due this week. I expect you to take your time and present a complete final assignment.
Instructions
1. Select one scenario for your presentation.
2. Create a presentation to demonstrate how facilitative leadership skills are used to address the issue in your scenario. Your presentation must include the following:
a. Your leadership philosophy based on leadership styles that have been explored earlier in the course.
b. A brief description of the key elements of facilitative leadership in your own words.
c. A description of how facilitative leaders impact their schools.
d. A detailed description of how your scenario can be addressed using facilitative leadership strategies (with at least 3 citations from your text).
3. Your presentation must include, at the minimum, 5 slides or 3 pages (double spaced, 12 point font).
Scenario::2. One of your most senior and respected teachers has turned in his lesson plan to you. In reviewing it, you realize that he has not been using the district curriculum or standards to deliver instruction. In fact, you notice that he is using a drill and kill style of teaching that requires very little higher-order thinking. What steps would you use to help this teacher comply and maintain morale?
