From Syllabus: The same group will design a research poster electronically that synthesizes and disseminates the findings from the Literature Review. The poster will be submitted the last week of class via drop box. The directions are essentially the same as the paper because you are presenting the same information as the paper but in a different format. The challenge is to present the information on the poster without overwhelming the reader with too much information. Be very brief with the background and summaries. State the background of the problem in one or two sentences. Tell the reader why we should care about this issue. Summarize the research articles findings in three or four sentences. Use a chart, graph, or table to show the results visually. Discuss the implications for practice from this research. Do the results of these studies support changing our practice at this time or do the limitations of the studies prevent their use? Use one or two sentences for this section. Discuss the questions that remain unanswered. Identify areas for further study.
