Is it that the racial segregation increases the number of bad loans or is it that the proportion of non-white residents increases the number of bad loans? Or is it that the market decides regardless of the number of the non-white residents? I think this bad loans had a lot to do with the 2008 crisis, but what does the race have to do with that? If it’s that the banks sell bad loans to the non-white residents, why would the banks do that?
