Guest Speaker Reaction Papers:
Reaction (Thought) Papers are designed to provide you with an opportunity to share with the instructor your thoughts and feelings as they apply to a specific Guest Lecturer / Speaker. You may choose any guest speaker of this class during this semester. Late papers will be penalized 10% before grading.
Papers should follow the subsequent outline:

Subject of Lecture:
What are the needs that this persons services are attempting to meet?
What are the primary services of this person or agency?
What are the Human Services positions that this person has held or are available at this persons agency?
Summarize the Speakers key points of the lecture: Can you tell why this person has been working in the human services field? What is their vision, their motivation?
What are your views of this Speakers lecture? Please share your intellectual and emotional reactions.
In other words do you agree or disagree with the speaker and how strongly?
Do you agree with the services being provided? If you were employed or working in the guest speakers position what would you do differently?

How is this class affecting you to date? What have gotten from this class?
How can this class be improved to provide more of an opportunity for learning?
