For each Curiosity Update, we will find one (1) article from a range of online publications (a diverse list of online publications is included at the bottom of this project prompt). These articles should be on topics and issues that you are interested in and genuinely care about. For each update, introduce your selected source (author, articles title, and the online publication), briefly but accurately summarize the source (what are the most important points or ideas in the source? Paint a clear picture for your reader), and then respond to a particular idea or area in the text that interests you the most (dont try to respond to the article as a whole, just one particular aspect or idea in the article).

Why are you interested in this issue/topic? How does this idea or area connect to your general interests or your concerns about the world? What connections to other sources or texts can you make? What questions arise for you as you reflect on these ideas? What would you like to research further?

One of the concepts we are attempting to develop in this course is critical and careful reading, so it is important to base our responses on specific evidence provided in our selected articles. Therefore, youll want to incorporate and integrate quotations from your selected article to help with your response.

Typed, double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman, 1-inch margins on all sides, at least 2 full pages, with a Works Cited page (Works Cited does not count in your 2 pages, and it should be properly formatted according to MLA guidelines).
